JOB DESCRIPTION: Outreach & Evangelism Minister

JOB OVERVIEW:
Wonderful Gospel Ministries (WGM), based in Birmingham, is a vibrant and fast-growing Church of God serving a multi-ethnic community in the United Kingdom. We are seeking a committed and Spirit-filled Minister of Religion to join our team as an Outreach & Evangelism Minister. This role requires a dedicated, born-again Christian with a passion for spreading the Gospel and equipping others for ministry.

• Salary: £20,930 per year
• Hours: 35 hours per week, including weekends. Additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the ministry.

PRIMARY ROLE:
The Outreach & Evangelism Minister will work closely with the Lead Minister to champion and implement the church’s vision for outreach and evangelism.

FUNCTIONS AND AUTHORITY:
The successful candidate will lead and oversee WGM’s Outreach & Evangelism Team, ensuring alignment with the church’s mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Leadership and Oversight:
   • Provide leadership in evangelism under the guidance of the Lead Minister.
   • Oversee the Outreach & Evangelism Team, ensuring its effectiveness and growth.
2. Training and Equipping:
   • Teach, train, and mentor team members to share the Gospel effectively.
   • Equip congregants to evangelize within their spheres of influence.
3. Discipleship:
   • Meet with congregation members to encourage spiritual growth and maturity.
4. Preaching and Teaching:
   • Preach and teach the Bible in accordance with WGM’s doctrinal statement during Sunday services and other church events as needed.
5. Administrative Support:
   • Assist with church office administration tasks as required.

• Cultural Awareness:
  • Commitment to anti-discriminatory practices and inclusivity.
  • Knowledge of additional languages such as Hausa or Yoruba is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree or diploma in theology (required).
• Ministerial ordination certificate (required).
• At least three years of ministry experience in a Pentecostal church is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English (essential).

Tier 5 Charity Workers – Voluntary

SUMMARY
To be a charitable aim for the public benefit we are looking for voluntary fieldworkers for Wonderful Gospel Ministries in various events and community services which contributes directly to the achievement and advancement of our charitable purpose such as

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES REQUIRED

RESPONSIBILITES

• Sort and packs food parcels, essentials, and clothing materials for community residents.
  2. Plans and monitors product storage of items in the warehouse and ensures that food parcels are accurately sorted.
  3. Record and update the Trust’s planner with details of all food parcel deliveries.
  4. Oversees stock replenishment of essential items and updates the appropriate line manager if stock is depleting.
  5. Loads prepared food parcels into vehicles and assists with their distribution to members of the community.
  6. Display and distribute leaflets with local services information to the community.
  7. Checks food quality by ensuring the best before or use-by dates have not gone past and updating the appropriate line manager if there is any issue with the quality of the food.

REMUNERATION & WORK ENVIRONMENT
We will reimburse all reasonable travel and subsistence expenses on production of receipts paid out in the course of journeys.
You will not receive any form of payment or remuneration against your
services, including benefits in kind, except reasonable expenses outlined in section 44 of the National Minimum Wage Act

Tier 5 Religious Workers

SUMMARY
Wonderful Gospel Ministries is a fast growing Church of God  in the united Kingdom,  seeks to employ religious workers with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in Church administration, Evangelism and soul winning outreach ministration with immediate effect. The candidate should be a Born again Spirit Filled Christian Believer and must have basic church worker in training certificate and he or she must have gone through Worker’s in training process. Evidence of training and on-going spiritual development will be required if shortlisted for interview. Experience of teaching bible studies and leading prayer sessions will be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Your duties will be purely outreach ministration, engage in the organizational charitable duties, organizing crusade and evangelism programmed worldwide. He or she will be required to travel within the United Kingdom and abroad to organize programmed for the benefit of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and for the public teaching bible Studies, engage in prayer and fasting with a view to building spiritual protection for congregants and the community at large.
